After learning about persuasive writing and how to use their words to make the world a better place, the K-2 classroom wrote pieces on some of the longer-term residence at the SPCA of Hancock County. Yesterday, they visited the shelter to drop off their writing pieces and to also drop off donations for each of the animals they wrote for. Their visit was featured on WABI:
