Good morning, We have rescheduled our home game with Veazie for Monday, January 23rd at 3:30. The previous date was January 5th but was cancelled due to weather. Any baked goodies are always welcome for our concession stand. Please call the school office with any questions. Thank you

AOS 47 the Airline, Dedham and Orrington School Departments: All schools have a 2 hour delay today due to the inclement weather and subsequent cleanup. School functions will begin 2 hours later than our normally scheduled times.

We wanted to remind everyone we have home basketball games on Tuesday, January 17th at 3:30. If you would like to donate baked/bought goodies for the concession stand we would appreciate it. Thank you

**Reminder-When the school bus lights are on, please do not pass the bus. There have been a few reports of vehicles passing our school bus in the school parking lot. It is a crime in Maine to pass a school bus with flashing yellow lights, or a red stop sign showing. Please wait...keep our kids safe! Mr. C

Food for thought this weekend... Dancing… FREE VERSE POEM A life lesson I started dancing to music, it is my passion. I enjoy it a lot. But if I miss a step, I could fall on my face. I can imagine myself in total pitch black and people start laughing at me. But every time I got up and forgot all that, even if I had a bad scar. I get scared of what people will think of me when I dance in public. They might think I'm weird and crazy but I won't let that stop me. By the time I turned twelve, I decided to be myself and if people thought I was weird, I wouldn't care because my friends like me for who I am, and I do too. I learned to be myself. Don't let anyone stop you from being who you are. **Wisdom beyond her years… Mr C

Our school Elf (Jingles) has been busy this month around our school. Last night he left a wonderful note and presents for our students. Jingles is very happy with all the great work our students are doing. Keep up the GREAT work!!! Please see attached pictures.

Today are 3rd - 8th graders received kits from Wreaths Across America to make four wreaths for our Veterans. Two of the wreaths are going to members of our community and the other two will be presented at the ceremony on Sunday. It is amazing to be part of Wreaths Across America! Good afternoon, The Airline Community School will be hosting the annual Aurora Winter Chess Solstice Tournament on Saturday, December 10th starting at 9:10am.
